Harbor Beach Lions Club
The Harbor Beach Lions Club is a non-profit service organization affiliated with Lions Clubs International. If you’re interested in volunteering, leading projects, networking, and having fun – you can do all of this and more as a Lions club member. As a Lion, you will perform local volunteer work to improve your community and communities around the world.
We want everyone to see a better tomorrow.
The Harbor Beach Lions Club supports the community with a variety of programs and services, with a focus on sight. That's why we support sight programs and services including vision screenings, eye banks, and eyeglass recycling. We also provide eye care services to those at risk of losing their sight.
Community and Environment Programs
Lions are kind and generous people who want to help. That's why we work on projects to improve our communities and protect the environment. Our club owns their very own Lunch Wagon, where we cook hamburgers, hot dogs and various other items to help raise money. Here are some of the projects that we currently do each year to help.
* Supports the Leader Dog Program by collecting for White Cane week.
* Easter Egg Hunt and Breakfast with free eye screening for children
* Fishing Tournaments
* Softball Tournaments
* Lions Club Scholarships for area High School Seniors.
* Liberty Day Program
* Helping communities following natural disasters
* Collect used eye classes to distribut to the needy.
* Provide disaster relief in communities impacted by natural disasters
* Supports Harbor Beach's Farmers Market.
Our club is proud to be celebrating our 75th year of Service in the Lions Local and International Communities. We welcome everyone in our community to help us celebrate. Details can be found in our activity schedule.
